[Monthly Mixing] Voice-Swap has released a free VST plugin 'Voice-Swap' that allows direct AI voice conversion within DAWs.
The namesake service 'Voice-Swap' is a paid product that allows users to purchase credits through subscription and use Voice-Swap models. This newly released free plugin allows the use of four artist models from this service.
Voice-Swap includes voice models of famous artists such as Robert Owens (Frankie Knuckles, Coldcut), Ayah Marar (Calvin Harris, Nervo, R3Hab), Angie Brown (The Rolling Stones, The Happy Mondays, Grace Jones), and Liam Bailey (Chase & Status, Shy FX). Royalties are paid to the respective artists each time a user uses their voice.
Additionally, it's possible to train and use your own voice through the custom model training feature. This can be used alongside other artist models.
Voice-Swap VST is compatible with 64-bit systems running Mac OS 10.12 or later and Windows 10 or later, and can be downloaded for free from the official website.
Voice-Swap stated, "We hope this plugin will enable users to create more creative and innovative music."
