[Monthly Mixing] Plugin Alliance has announced the 'Bettermaker Passive Equalizer' plugin, faithfully recreating Bettermaker's hardware EQ.
This plugin is a faithful reproduction of Bettermaker's Valve Stereo Passive Equalizer. It replicates everything from the clarity of high-end analog components to innovative hybrid analog/parametric controls.
By emulating NOS vacuum tubes, low-noise FET-input Burr-Brown™ op-amps, and hand-matched inductors, they've created an EQ that offers warm low end, airy highs, minimal harmonic distortion, and maximum smoothness.
The Bettermaker Passive Equalizer is designed to be suitable for both mixing and mastering. It's particularly helpful in bringing out the natural tone and characteristics of vocals and acoustic instruments.
The FLAT and HEAT switches allow for additional tube-driven color and tonal switching. When used in Stack Mode, it can be utilized in Mid/Side or L/R configurations.
The Bettermaker Passive Equalizer plugin is available for purchase through the Plugin Alliance website, with a regular price of $199. It's currently available at a launch discount price of $79.99. Those who have previously purchased other Bettermaker products can buy it for $19.99.
