Trident Console EQ Recreated in Pulsar Audio's 'Poseidon' Release

[Monthly Mixing] Pulsar Audio has released a new plugin 'Poseidon', modeling a console EQ.

Poseidon is known to be a recreation of the EQ from Trident's A-Range console, which was used in the production of numerous hit songs by artists such as Queen, The Beatles, David Bowie, and The Rolling Stones.

Reproducing the distinctive band interactions this EQ is famous for, adjusting the gain of a single band can create EQ curves that would typically require 3-4 bands on a standard parametric EQ.

Pulsar Audio has implemented a real-time responsive on-screen EQ curve to allow intuitive control of these complex interactions.

Additionally, modern features such as Mid/Side bands, Gain Scale, Auto-Gain, and various saturation options have been added.

Poseidon supports VST, VST3, AU, and AAX formats, and offers a 14-day free trial. It costs 99 euros and is currently on sale for a special launch price of 59 euros.
