[Monthly Mixing] Warner Music Korea announced on the 13th the launch of 'MPLIFY', a label aimed at supporting Korean artists with international connections.
MPLIFY aims to help these artists communicate with global audiences and succeed in the international music market by focusing on English-language music.
Samuel Ku, Executive Producer at Warner Music Korea, leads MPLIFY. A Korean-American with over 15 years of industry experience as a music producer, songwriter, and executive, he has collaborated with various artists across multiple genres.
Warner Music stated that MPLIFY will present a new approach to music production and artist management, granting musicians creative freedom to express their unique voices to a global audience. It also aims to build a global fan base and support artists in entering the international music market.
The label's first artist is Olivia Marsh, a Korean-Australian singer-songwriter set to release her debut single in October.
Olivia Marsh, who has been active in Korea as a composer and lyricist under the name Livy since 2023, has participated in albums for BoA, Kep1er, and others. She is also known as the older sister of NewJeans member Danielle.
