Analog EQ Electrodyne 511 Plugin Version Released

[Monthly Mixing] MixWave has released 'Electrodyne 511', a plugin that precisely models the EQ of Electrodyne, famous for its 60s analog consoles.

Electrodyne, known as a pioneer of analog consoles, played a crucial role in shaping the modern recording industry. Its innovative designs, superior sound, and technology were the backbone of many legendary studios during the 'Golden Age' of recording.

MixWave collaborated with Electrodyne to recreate the EQ curves and characteristics of the Electrodyne 511 in plugin form using component-level modeling technology.

Electrodyne 511 is a simple yet powerful 2-band EQ that can be utilized in various audio production scenarios. Its gentle and wide Q is suitable for sweetening and balancing a variety of sound sources.

The 511, which can be used for various purposes from drums and vocals to mix bus, provides musical tone shaping while adding analog depth and warmth.

Electrodyne 511 is available for Windows and Mac, supporting VST3, AU, and AAX plugin formats.
