INDIGO DE SOUZA ANNOUNCES WHOLESOME EVIL FANTASY EP

Out Today via Loma Vista Recordings

Indigo De Souza, the fearless and inventive artist, has released her audacious new EP, WHOLESOME EVIL FANTASY, today on Loma Vista Recordings.

This latest work showcases De Souza's unbridled creativity and bold musical innovation, further cementing her reputation as one of indie rock's most versatile young voices.

To celebrate the EP's release, De Souza is hosting two dance parties - one in Los Angeles on October 3rd and another in her hometown of Asheville, NC on October 8th. These events will feature DJ sets by various artists, promising an exciting and immersive experience for fans.

De Souza describes the EP as coming from "the spiciest, most goofy, glitter gloss place in my psyche," emphasizing the joy and playfulness that went into its creation. She credits her collaborators, Elliott Kozel and Jesse Schuster, for bringing out her silliest side and helping her discover new musical territories.

The artist's recent appearance on NPR's Tiny Desk, where she performed songs from her acclaimed 2023 album "All of This Will End," has further increased anticipation for this new release. Critics have praised De Souza's work for its raw emotion, radiant optimism, and ability to grapple with complex themes such as mortality and community.

WHOLESOME EVIL FANTASY follows the success of "All of This Will End," which received near-unanimous critical acclaim. The New Yorker hailed De Souza as "one of indie rock's most versatile young voices," while Pitchfork praised her "earnest writing and exhilarating vocal performances."

Fans can catch Indigo De Souza live at the upcoming All Things Go Festivals in Washington D.C. and New York City, as well as at her release party shows in Los Angeles and Asheville.
