[Monthly Mixing] Kakao Entertainment announced that 'Music Wave', the music chat service of its music platform Melon, has exceeded 10,000 concurrent users.
Kakao Entertainment reported on the 27th that during the chat event for virtual idol 'PLAVE' on the 21st, they recorded 10,639 concurrent users and a cumulative 35,200 users. This marks the highest record since Music Wave's launch.
Music Wave, launched in July, is a platform where users can listen to music and chat in real-time with artists. It supports unlimited automatic music playback and allows users to create their own channels.
Melon continues to operate events through Music Wave where newly released artists can communicate with their fandoms. Events featuring Gu Gong Tan, NCT's Jaehyun, NMIXX, and ZEROBASEONE have been or are being held.
