Charly Bliss Releases New Video for "I'm Not Dead" from Acclaimed Album "Forever"

New York-based indie rock band Charly Bliss has unveiled a new video for their song "I'm Not Dead," a standout track from their critically acclaimed third album "Forever," released via Lucky Number. The video, directed by band member Dan Shure, offers a creative lyric video inspired by the TV show "Murder She Wrote."

Lead vocalist Eva Hendricks explains the song's origins: "I wrote this song at the start of COVID when I thought I was going to die and I was sad that I hadn't partied more, if this was truly the end." The video, shot on an iPhone, showcases the band's DIY spirit and creative approach to music videos.

"Forever," the band's latest album, has received widespread critical acclaim. Described by Bandcamp as "The best record of the band's career—a 20-megaton glitterbomb exploding with pop hooks," the album represents a significant evolution in Charly Bliss's sound while maintaining their signature power pop style.

Charly Bliss, consisting of Eva Hendricks, Sam Hendricks, Spencer Fox, and Dan Shure, approached the creation of "Forever" with a simple directive: "It has to be fun." This ethos is evident throughout the album, which the band describes as a celebration of their friendship and the life they've built together.

The writing process for "Forever" was unique, with band members collaborating remotely due to circumstances. This approach allowed for more experimentation and exploration in their songwriting, resulting in what many critics consider their strongest work to date.
