PRS Releases First Sandblasted SE Swamp Ash CE 24 Limited Edition

[Monthly Mixing] PRS Guitars has released a limited edition of the SE CE 24 bolt-on electric guitar featuring a sandblasted swamp ash top.

This is the first time PRS has globally released a sandblasted finish model. PRS stated, "While we've made guitars with this treatment before, this is the first time we're offering it on a large scale worldwide," adding, "We fell in love with these guitars after witnessing the sandblasting process firsthand."

The PRS SE Swamp Ash CE 24 Sandblast Limited Edition features a mahogany body with a swamp ash top, and adopts a maple neck with a rosewood fretboard.

It's equipped with PRS's 85/15 "S" humbucker pickups, offering six basic sounds through a 3-way pickup selector and coil-split functionality.

The guitar applies high-quality hardware including PRS's tremolo and design tuners, finished in Smoke Black.

The price is $699, and it's available in six sandblasted colors: White, Red, Blue, Purple, Green, and Blue. More details can be found on the PRS website.
