[Monthly Mixing] RME has unveiled the MADIface XT II, a 394-channel 192kHz USB 3.0 audio interface with comprehensive connectivity and control options suitable for both live and studio work.
The MADIface XT II updates the digital and analog circuitry of its predecessor, the MADIface XT, to provide enhanced performance.
Analog performance has been improved, increasing the maximum balanced level of XLR line outputs to +24dBu, while the headphone output now provides a higher output level of +19dBu.
Key features include two MADI optical I/Os, one MADI coaxial I/O, two XLR mic/line inputs, two analog I/Os, headphone output, word clock I/O, AES/EBU I/O, USB 3.0 port, and four MIDI I/Os.
The MADIface XT II is equipped with a TotalMix FX DSP mixer, DIGICheck analyzer, and SteadyClock FS clock technology. Comprehensive control is also possible through the optionally available ARC USB remote control.
The price and release date for the MADIface XT II are yet to be announced. For more details, refer to the RME website.
