[Monthly Mixing] IK Multimedia has announced the 'iLoud Micro Monitor Pro', significantly enhancing the performance of the existing iLoud Micro system.
The new iLoud Micro Monitor Pro doubles the output, extends low-frequency response down to 42Hz, and adds built-in room calibration functionality. Each speaker weighs only 1.4kg, maintaining its ultra-compact size.
Equipped with a 50W amplifier per speaker, it can achieve a maximum SPL of over 107dB, with a frequency response maintaining ±2dB between 50Hz and 20kHz.
The manufacturer states that near-perfect phase alignment and time coherence have been achieved through the built-in DSP. With IK Multimedia's ARC auto-calibration system, users can automatically adjust frequency response to suit the listening space when used with the ARC MEMS measurement microphone.
The X-MONITOR desktop application allows complete control over each speaker's parameters and offers various voicing options to simulate other playback systems.
The monitors feature a built-in tilting stand for easy positioning and a 3/8-inch threaded insert for mounting on a microphone stand. Each speaker supports independent connections, enabling compact surround or immersive audio setups.
The iLoud Micro Monitor Pro is priced at $279.99 for a single unit and $559.99 for a pair. The ARC MEMS microphone is not included with single unit purchases.
